historical account of the corruption of two texts of scripture, I
shall now mention some others more briefly. ffor the attempts to
corrupt the scriptures have been very many, and; amongst many
attempts tis no wonder if some have succeeded. I shall mention those
that have not succeeded as well as those that have, because the first
will be more easily allowed to be corruptions, and; by being
convinced of those, you will cease to be averse from believing the
